TRUST THE PROCESS! Be patient. Your mindset determines your success.  Positive energy and vibes will help you dig deeper than you ever thought you could.  Push through the burn!  Be open to helping others, but focused enough not to be derailed.  Remember why you started.  Visualize your desired results.  CELEBRATE EVERY SINGLE WIN! Micro wins lead to MACRO wins!  Be prepared for doubting and negative people.  Please understand that some people can’t celebrate with you because your win highlights their stagnation. Everyone can’t join you on YOUR journey.  You have to be prepared to fight the good fight solo dolo!  Find your tribe and rock it out with them.  Make sure you make time for recovery, and block anything or anyone who may be a distraction from the path forward.  Again, I say, CELEBRATE and ENCOURAGE YOURSELF!!!!  If you are still waiting on someone to be vegan with you, or workout with you, or travel with you, you’ve already wasted time you can never get back.  Make up in your mind what YOU want, plan out the necessary steps, and implement them one by one.  It’s okay to ask for help, but don’t continue to waste time waiting on someone else to achieve your goals.


I had the opportunity to share my testimony this morning in New Members Orientation at Prime, and honestly, the words flowed so freely from my mouth because my life has truly been changed in these last 6 weeks.  I tell everyone about where I go, and what I am doing.  It’s up to them to adopt my methods.

Let me get to the nitty gritty.

I lost 6.7 lbs and 0.6% body fat THIS WEEK!

Since Aug 1st = New total of 18.1 lbs and 1.3 % Body Fat! OMG!

3 Personal Training Sessions a Week at Prime Athletics with Grant Ogbodo

Club Prime with Desmond Scott on Wednesdays and Prime Elite with Jess and Jenay on Saturdays. All GREAT HIIT workouts which my body loves. I melt like BUTTA! #DripDrip

IMG_20180824_150052_783.jpgIntermittent Fasting with a 16 hour fasting window and an 8 hour CLEAN eating window of 1500-1600 calories.  I use myfitnesspal to track my calories.  I did do a 20 hour fast on my day off this week, which left me with a 4 hour eating window. (1,200 calorie fast breaking meal)


ONE gallon of water on workout days, Garden of Life Vegan multi-vitamin gummies, and diffused essential oils while stretching before bed.


SmartSelect_20180825-190441_Chrome.jpgI couldn’t be more proud of my success and the mental chains that have been broken that have hindered my weight loss and fitness success in the past.  I will go into detail about them all later down the road.





IMG_20180825_143136_132.jpgDon’t get it twisted, I’m still a FOODIE, but a sensible Mind Over Matter Foodie now.  This is what I had today to break my fast at the CaribMask Caribbean Festival in Raleigh, NC.  Fried Red Snapper with steamed veggies and rice and peas. I logged my calories and still had a successful day! Balance PEOPLE! It’s all about balance!
