For the last 6 weeks, I’ve been consistently using Shea Moisture’s Jamaican Black Castor Oil Strengthen & Restore Loc & Braid Butter, and their Edge Treatment.  I have also been using Curls Lavish Curl Moisturizer 2nd Curl Refresher/Daily Leave-in.

Review

Smell: Everything smells great! Shea Moisture has shea butter, and peppermint which make for a very soothing and relaxing aroma, and Curls Leave-In offers a sweet pomegranate, aloe, and jojoba oil mix. Smells like candy to me.   5/5

Slip: Curls Leave-In makes my hair and my combs happy.  It is great for detangling and easy quick styling.  5/5

Softness: I can’t keep my hands out of my hair! 4/5

Curl Definition: I usually use these products as my cream and oil, but they do provide great moisture and protection to my delicate ends. Keeps my coils bouncy.  4/5

Buildup: No buildup of residue on my hair before or after a sweaty workout.  5/5

Sweat Factor: Doesn’t burn or irritate my face or eyes while I workout! WINNER 5/5

Price: $9-13 for each product! I recommend you get it when it goes on sale for BOGO! 4/5

No sulfates, parabens, phthalates, mineral oil, petroleum, or artificial fragrances.

I haven’t had any break outs or eye irritation from sweating.  I love products that I can use on my entire body. The shea butter oil and black Jamaican castor oil are winners in my book as well. They’ve all made it to my HEAD, SHOULDERS, KNEES, & TOES collection of MUST HAVES!
